UPDATE: We aren't moving. Instead, we're revamping. At some point, the board probably will be down. This skin is a go-between; soon, I will make SLL an unique custom skin. After that, I will make emoticons, or ask some of the graphics staff to make emoticons, Then, I will be deleting useless and cheap-looking forums and creating new ones. After that, it's a surprise. [@u~]
I'm back online. I promise you all that this site will not die. Now, I'm willing to do anything to keep SLL alive. I spent some of the best times of my life with SLL users, some of them on SLL. Of the best people I know, 3 are on SLL and one of those 3 was met here. SLL was my first serious forum project. Now, it's around a year and a month since I started working on and collecting staff for SLL, and around a year since we opened. Since then, SLL has, slowly, been dying. It ends now.
I am willing to do anything to get SLL active again. If anyone knows of a way to get more activity from everyone and more active users, please PM me. I'm also thinking of moving to an actual script-run forum, rather than a webscript; I could not replicate posts, but I could re-register all accounts. If you are for the move, vote in the poll.
I swear to you all that, sometime in the future, the light of activity will reflect of the water of Shiny Lapras's Lake once more.

Do we still use a web browser to access the forum?
Can you explain more on what a script run forum is?
I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to scripts, apps, and internet terminologies.
Sorry, Destinii Haruya, if you wanted to reply. Yes, you still use a web browser. Basically, what I think Destinii Haruya means is this:
This forum is run using iPBFree, a system that is entirely hosted by the owners of the iPBFree system (remotely hosted). iPBFree's admin backend can only be accessed via browser. Destinii Haruya has to host or download nothing. However, this means that Destinii Haruya has no control over some aspects.
If Destinii Haruya were to download a script such as phpBB (free) or IPB (no longer free from their official site, although you can get around-60%-legal free versions around the web), she would have to find a way to host it herself, but she woulds have control over almost everything. Some skins and mods she has installed might not work, but she could find equivalents- there is a huge community of skinners and modders of phpBB and IPB.

I think if a forum is dead, its dead. Activity doesn't really come unless its already active. and for that you need people who are really devoted to the site, or really like what it has to offer.
People dont like joining close to dead forums. or posting in them. Its a waste of time.
I guess what I am saying is, people wont just come back because you tell them to. There has to be something to come back to. Something new to offer that will grab their attention.

Thanks for clarrifying it all up on the script hosting. I think it be a good idea to move to phpBB since it is free, and easy to use. I don't really recommend phpBB3 because it is harder to use then phpBB2 in my opinion.
Invision requires a license which is kind of costly.
Post exchanges, contests, or finding a bunch of people who are into Pokemon, anime might help when it comes to activity.

Yes. We're currently in the process of redoing a lot, though, so soon there will be something to come back to.
@froggyboy- We're probably not moving any more, but if we were to move, it'd definitely be to an old free version of IPB (I was lucky enough to save the trial version when I thought it was about to go commercial) or to phpBB2. phpBB3 is fiddly and, in my opinion, lacks some of the features of phpBB2. It also looks much worse.
